Would you like to use the templates you have already created in other languages? We will show you how, it works.
Creating Forms for Team Members Who Don't Speak German
In your team, there are members who do not use Lumiform in German. It is important to have your forms available in other languages as well. Adjusting the language settings in Lumiform is possible and you can find more information on how to do that here.
When creating forms, there are a few things to consider:
- Unfortunately, Lumiform does not currently offer automatic translation for forms. This means that any form you create needs to be manually translated.
- To create a translated form, start by duplicating the desired form in the Templates area. Simply click on the first Duplicate Template icon on the right side of the respective form. Give the new template a name and enter editing mode.
- Now, you will need to translate all fields that are not automatically specified by Lumiform.
Here is a tip: Copy the respective entries and use translation software like Google Translate, DeepL, or ChatGPT to translate them. Then, copy and paste the translated text back into the form. - In the next step, you also need to adapt the answer sets to ensure they are translated correctly.
By translating all the important parts of the template, you can provide non-German-speaking team members with forms in their preferred language. They can simply select the language they want to use Lumiform in on their device.
