How to start a form

This article shows you how to start a new form via the web app and the mobile app.

Forms are the processes you and your team go through to capture data and populate reports. In your context, filling out a form could be filling in a form, performing an audit, or going through a form template.

Web app: 

1. Log in the Lumiform web app. 
2. Select Forms from the menu. 
3. Click Start form from template.
4. Progress through the form accordingly and take note of any required questions, which can be identified by an asterisk next to the question label.
5. Once you reach the end of the form, tap Complete form.
6. Once all questions have been reviewed, you can Assign all actions or Skip for now.
7. Click View & export report if you want to download the form report or click Save and close.

Mobile app:

1. Open Lumiform's mobile app. 
2. Tap Forms. 
3. Select the templates tab at the top of your screen.
4. Tap the template and select Start Form. 
5. Progress through the form accordingly and take note of any required questions, which can be identified by an asterisk next to the question label.
6. Once you reach the end of the inspection, tap complete form. 
7. Once all questions have been reviewed, you can Assign all actions or Skip for now.
8. Click View & Export Report if you want to download the form report or tap Save & Close.
