New user cannot be created

You want to create a new user, but it already exists? We will show you what to do in this case.

If you encounter an error message stating that the email is already occupied when trying to create a new user, it means that the user already has an account with Lumiform.

This usually happens when multiple people in a company test the software with their own accounts and then decide to subscribe and be added as users to the main account:

In such cases, you have three options:

 

1. You can create an alternative email address for the user, provided that they have access to this email account.

 

2. If an alternative email address is not available, you can create an alternative for the existing Lumiform email address by adding a plus sign, like this: max.mustermann+@lumiformapp.com. Remember to use this alternative address when logging in. However, please note that not all mail providers support this feature, so it's recommended to test it beforehand.

 

3. If the user's account is no longer needed, you can delete it and use the email address associated with that account to create a new user account. Just let us know if you would like us to delete the account for this user.

 

These options should help you resolve the issue and successfully create a new user.
