Adding photos to Lumiform - Setup
In our template form builder, you can set up the option for users to upload photos during an inspection by selecting the photo response set & creating a logic. Additionally, you have the ability to allow users to upload images as comments through the comment function below form fields:
- You can adjust this setting by selecting the three-dot menu on the right in the form field:
You can also adjust settings to allow users to add text comments and create actions.
Now, let's see how this works in practice for your Lumiform users.
Adding images while filling out a form
When filling out forms, users may be prompted to attach a photo based on the settings.
The process varies slightly between desktop and mobile devices.
Adding photos in Lumiform on a desktop device
- A file folder will open up, allowing you to select and add your images.
- Afterward, you can enhance these images by drawing or adding markings - using the drawing symbol on the top left or deleting them with the trash can symbol on the right:
- Simply just click on Save once more, and the images will be added.
Adding images in the Lumiform app on Android
- First, the camera opens up for you to capture a photo directly. However, you also have the option to add images through the gallery icon at the bottom right.
- After this is done, you can also edit and remove them:
Uploading images in the Lumiform app on iOS
- On iPhones & iPads, you will be prompted to choose whether you want to take photos using the camera and then add them, or if you prefer to use images from the device's gallery library:
- Here you can edit or remove them, and then confirm everything by selecting Finish.
Pictures taken through the Lumiform App will not be saved in the mobile device's gallery.
